As parents begin to think about the upcoming school year, we want you to be aware of the various fees associated with sending your child to school in USD 481.
FEES (JS)
Students will be assessed fees for the following:
● Student Material Fees are $60 per student (K – 12) with a maximum of $240 per family.
● Student Material Fees for qualified reduced families based on free/reduced meal application status is $30 per student with a $120 maximum per family.
● Student Material Fees for qualified free families based on free/reduced meal application status is $0 per student.
● At-Risk Pre-Kindergarten will have 12 requested slots. Those students will have no fees for Pre-Kindergarten.
● Any additional qualifying at-risk Pre-K students will have no fees.
● Additional Pre-Kindergarten students that do not qualify for at-risk will pay $150 per month plus any other fees. Fee payment is required at enrollment time if possible. Parents may make alternative arrangements with administration.
● Meal costs:
● K- 5 = $3.10
● 6-12 = $3.25
● Adults = $4.10
● Breakfast
● K-12 = $2.00
● Adults = $2.40
● Extra Milk = $.50

How Can You Host a High School Exchange Student?

Two White City students will be attending the nineteenth annual Youth Civic Leadership Institute at the Dole Institute of Politics, University of Kansas. Many outstanding nominations from around the state were submitted. The nominating Committee has selected Parker Diekmann and Amelia Friedli to receive a scholarship to this year’s Youth Civic Leadership Institute from July 10-12, 2024.
