Let’s “PAWS” for a moment of gratitude!
PAWS is a program made up of parents that do events and sponsor school sports. The purpose of PAWS (People Always Willing to Support) enhances the educational experience of PreK–12 students by funding meaningful learning opportunities, supporting educators and staff, and strengthening connections between families, schools, and the broader community, creating a place where students, families, and educators thrive together.
The members of the board are Amanda Harmison (President),Tyna Teaney (Vice President),Carrie Fiest (Treasurer),Courtney Graby (Secretary), and Joni Peterson (Social Marketing). The board and its members have been working hard to give families fun events and fundraisers.
Some of the events that have happened this year include: the Homecoming meal in Oct., set up Book Fair Oct., Volleyball Substate Oct., Parent Teacher Conference meal Oct, football playoffs Oct, kickoff to Christmas Dec, White City Scholars Bowl meet Jan, 8th grade basketball promotion Feb., teachers wishlist Feb, mother-son game night Feb, Parent Teacher Conference meal March, Daddy Daughter Dance April, Administration Appreciation Day May, and Teacher Appreciation Week May.
Upcoming PAWS events are: Regional Track May, State Track May. Summer movies: Sunday, May 24th, Friday, June 19th, and Friday, July 3rd - begins at sunset, Back to School Water Day (to be decided sometime in August before the the 2026-2027 school year begins) Sprucing up the School's Landscaping & Curb Appeal: June 8th, July 6th, and August 3rd
