Rural Vista's 1st track meet for 2026 happened at Bennington, Kansas on March 31, 2026. Overall, Rural Vista Boys got first with an excellent result of 99 points. Rural Vista Girls ended the day with 8 points.
In the Varsity Boys 100m Dash, Kole Riedy got 3rd with a time of 12.22, and Celian Van Bemten got 6th place with a time of 12.38. In the 400m Dash, Kole Reidy got a time of 54.74. Bryson Allen got a close second on the 800m Dash. with an impressive time of 2:14.44. Grant Eskeldson got a time of 17.89 at the 110m Hurdles. Additionally, Grant also got a time of 44.13 in the 300m Hurdles, good for second place both times. Rural Vista dominated the 4x800m Relay with a time of 8:56.01, thanks to Nolan Effland, Kole Reidy, Koden Sanford, and Bryson Allen.
Rural Vista can jump too! Tyler Brockmeier had an excellent result on the High Jump with 6-0.00.
The strong arms of Rural Vista came out to throw in Bennington. Koden Sanford and Andrew Calvert crushed the competition, with Koden throwing 144-4.00 and Andrew throwing 137-4.00.
Journey Peterson threw the Discus for an awesome 99-4.00. Adding on to that, Journey threw the shot put for an excellent distance of 32-5.50. Finally, Teagan Traynor got a 38.73 in the 200m Dash and finished in 23rd place.
