Three cheers for Rural Vista!
Stephanie Laudemann is the cheer coach of Rural Vista. Ms. Laudemann has been a coach for many years, bringing excitement to Rural Vista High School games. Ms. Laudemann tells us, ¨I have been a cheer coach for 30 years.” In that time, Ms. Laudemann has coached many amazing girls to success in cheer. She says, ¨I have coached well over 100 girls.”
We wanted to find out when Ms. Laudemann started coaching. She says, ¨I started coaching with a friend after college. She wanted some help so I decided to help.¨
But what does it take to be a cheerleader? It turns out to require quite a bit from the girls. In fact, as Ms. Laudemann says, ¨It takes A LOT of time and dedication to be a cheerleader.¨
According to Ms. Laudemann, the girls start cheer practice before school. She informs us, ¨You start in the summer learning cheers and you cheer through both football and basketball season.¨
The reader might be curious about some of Ms. Laudemann’s favorite memories. She tells us, ¨Some of my best memories come from my early years when everyone cheered with the girls and the excitement was high at all the ball games.¨ When Ms. Laudemann was in High School, she also was a cheerleader. About her own history of cheer, she says, ¨I cheered in Junior High and my Freshman year of High School.¨
We can all agree: Ms. Laudemann is a valuable coach here in Rural Vista. We thank her for her serious dedication to cheer.
