It’s that time again. The time when we watch the students dress their best to impress.

It’s part of the tradition to crown a King and Queen as part of the Homecoming celebrations. The purpose of having a Homecoming is to bring together the alumni and the current students.  It’s a fun day to welcome back our former students, and for them to see that the traditions continue.

Last week saw the coronation for Winter Homecoming. The coronation was held on Friday, February 6th, 2026, during the halftime of the boys Varsity Game.

Before the Homecoming ceremony, students vote for King and Queen during the school day. The votes were added up to determine the winner. The King was Kole Riedy. The Queen was Journey Peterson.

The escorts were Freshmen Karizma Marsh & Ely Benner. The Sophomore escorts were: Reagan Fiest & Cash Hayes. The Junior escorts were: Paige Reynolds & Malakhi Kramer.

The Homecoming “little people” were: Piper Effland, Keeley Kaston, Koy Kaston, and AJ Hover.

The King candidates were:Andrew Calvert, Kole Riedy and Trent Hoff. The Queen candidates were: Addyson Wingert, Journey Peterson and Litze Bolanos.
