What's Happening in PE?

My physical education classes have been busy and involved in many various activities. The 9th grade students have participated in soccer, volleyball, speed ball and football. On rainy days they got in a couple games of dodgeball, which is still a favorite enjoyed by all ages.
The grade school students also were active in many different games. The highlight of the first nine-weeks was when the National Guard Unit out of Emporia brought a 32-foot climbing wall and set it up in the parking lot. All of the students along with many teachers had fun trying to reach the top. Many were successful and fun was had by all.
