Meet Mrs. Kleiner

Welcome to the Business & Computer Department!!
Mrs. Kleiner is now in her 10th year of teaching at Hope High School. Besides teaching Business and Computers, she is the FBLA Adviser and Junior Class Sponsor. She graduated from Kansas State University with a major in Secondary Education and a minor in Business Administration. She also holds an Associate of Arts degree from Tabor College.
Mrs. Kleiner, her husband Ryan, and two children Kaden (7) and Kinsey (4), live in Hillsboro.

Classroom
Happenings
Computer Applications-Microsoft Excel is the topic for the
new semester. We are off to a great start in learning this
application.
Accounting I-Both classes of Accounting I are now studying the accounting cycle of a merchandising business. Special journals will soon be introduced to make accounting quicker and easier.
Advanced Computer Apps.-Students are still hard at work making www.hopelions.com a fun and exciting student-created website for the students of Hope Schools. Check out the photographs from this year's Winter Homecoming held in early February.
Keyboarding--8th Graders are learning to master the keyboard using Microtype software, as well as, learning how to run a checkbook and becoming a smart consumer.
In-House Training--In House students are hard at work doing computer work for the community and school district. If anyone needs computer work done, please contact me at 366-7221. Samantha and Kristin will be glad to help out!
