Huskie Expo--A Great Success!!

White City Schools hosted the 3rd Annual Huskie Expo and Open House on Thursday, August 21, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The school was open so that parents and patrons could see the classrooms and visit with the faculty and staff. The Expo was held in the Commons and featured exhibits from our school as well as local/area businesses and organizations.
The Expo was a fun, community event. The After-Prom parents hosted a tail-gate feed beginning at 5:45 p.m. From 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. teachers were available in their classrooms to visit with parents and patrons. The second hour from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. was dedicated to viewing the exhibits and awarding door prizes.
WCHS Student Council members served as tour guides and handed out tickets for door prizes. Several prizes were distributed to patrons who were lucky enough to have their number called. PAWS served refreshments in the Commons Area. The 2007-2008 Huskie yearbooks were distributed in the Commons Area...This was a great opportunities for students to sign yearbooks.
The Expo was well attended this year. We look forward to the Expo next year!!
