The freshmen will begin the year reviewing grammar and 6-trait writing.
Ringers: Monday-New vocabulary/spelling
Tuesday-Journal
Wednesday-Vocab Puzzle
Thursday- Journal
Friday-Language Usage
New vocabulary/spelling words are introduced on Monday and tested on Friday.
Journals are ten sentence responses to an assigned topic. The students do this in Moodle.
Language usage is two sentences with grammatical errors including spelling, punctuation, capitalization and word usage.
